Hi, my name is Talia Maggs-Rapport and I am on the Media and PR team for Culture Y, a student run arts festival in St Andrews. I’m originally from Wales, although I live in Australia now, and I’m studying Art History and Psychology. For me, this years theme of spaces encapsulates everything from the day-to-day to the interstellar. This photo was taken in one of my favourite spaces, a sunny conservatory at my friend’s house in Hamburg. Whilst it might be seen as an mundane space in the grand scheme of things, this space still has significant meaning and memories for me. This years Culture Y theme encourages artists to do just that- explore the spaces that are important in their lives.
