My name is Sarah Park and I am a part of Culture Y’s Media and PR team. I’m in my third year of studying Art History and call Southern California home. My ideal space is somewhere that is surrounded by creative vision—usually manifested in the form of an art museum. I spend an absurd amount of my free time in museums, and I feel most recharged after wandering through halls lined with paintings. Art can be a window into another space, a reflection of self, a representation of culture or all of the above. I love looking at a painting and seeing how it informs the space around it, and how the artist interpreted their physical or mental spaces through brushstrokes on a canvas.
