• What can the performance artwork consist of?

Your performance can consist of any form of performance in connections with the theme.

• How long can the performance artwork last?

This question will be answered after the sign-up period has ended.

 

If Culture Y receives numerous performance artwork applications, it is expected that most of these works cannot exceed a time-period of 10 minutes. We will specify our conditions at a later date.

 

• Can I film my performance artwork, then submit it?

Yes. If the above restrictions conflict with your idea, please consider filming the performance. You must let us know the length of your film or if it is looped and how you would like it exhibited through emailing us at culturey2018@gmail.com by March 20th, 2018.

 

• How many people can I have on my team?

You can have as many members of your team as you would like, within reason for an indoor venue.

 

• Do I need a team for my performance artwork?

You do not need a team for your performance artwork.

 

• How do I “submit” my performance artwork?

If you are not filming it, please email us a synopsis of your work with the following details: length, number of people involved, space required. If you are filming your artwork, please see the film FAQ to see how to submit.

 

You must also include, in both filmed and submitted performance artworks, a description of your work by the submission deadline, March 28th, 2018.
