Material Art

  • What do I do if I need an easel or platform to display my work?

Please fill out whether or not you need an easel or platform in your application. If you do need a platform, please be aware that you may have to supply it yourself. If this is the case, we will inform you in early March that you need to obtain a platform yourself.

 

  • What can my work consist of?

Any type of display or depiction that is relevant to the theme of SPACES is appropriate.

  • What can the size of my artwork be?

Please be aware that these are indoor spaces that will also have other artwork competing for room. We ask that you choose the size of your artwork with this in mind.

  • Do I need to provide a description of my artwork?

Yes, we would like a description of your material artwork upon receiving the work. You can either email it to culturey2018@gmail.com or in person when you hand in your artwork by March 28th, 2018.

  • When and how do I submit my material artwork?

You must submit your artwork by March 28th, 2018.

 

You must come in person to a location to be determined at a later date to give your artwork to a Culture Y team member.

  • Can I do a series?

You can do a series. A series includes separate parts that must be presented together. If you intend to do a series, we would ask you to be aware of the confining space and that you let us know in the sign-up sheet down below. Furthermore, please be prepared to confine the size of each individual piece for your series if space becomes an issue.
