"Leaving Blank", a characteristic technique used in traditional Chinese ink paintings for depicting space, sky, water, and wind, constitutes not only Chinese aesthetics that value "imperfection", but also my understanding of space. Carrying this heritage, I see the theme of Culture Y 2018, "Space", as a blank space left for people to fill in with their ideas of space and its influences. Therefore, what this space would look like depends entirely on how space is understood by people, which is the paradoxical fun of Culture Y 2018.
